I have been waiting 2 years to shoot this wedding. Stephanie was my daughter’s horseback riding teacher when we first moved here to Texas 3 years ago. I finally got to meet her fiance, Devin, a few weeks before the wedding for their engagement shoot and I absolutely love how playful they are….and the wedding was no different!!!! So much fun!!! Take a look at a sneak peek from their wedding….. Austin Wedding Photographer | Melissa Vinsik Photography
I had a blast with this beautiful young lady at our shoot last Friday. I really enjoyed talking with both her and her awesome mom! We were originally scheduled to shoot in Austin, but realized at the last moment that SXSW was going on. Neither one of us wanted to brave the crowds and parking issues! Luckily they were willing to head up here to Round Rock for our shoot. I’m very happy with the way they came out. It was very difficult to find just a few to post for a sneak peek, so I’m posting a few more than usual. 🙂
I had such a wonderful time shooting this beautiful elopement at Chapel Dulcinea with Tamara and Ruben. It was absolutely beautiful and so romantic. I am honored to be the one to capture this special day for two very special people. Congratulations Tamara and Ruben. Here’s a little sneak peek for ya!
I absolutely love this couple! Amanda and Hector are one of the SWEETEST couples I’ve ever met and I’m so honored that they chose me to be their photographer for their special day. I had such a blast too!!! Here’s a little sneak peek from the day! It was hard to narrow it down!!!!
I had such a blast with Kristen and Josh! They are such a sweet couple! Unfortunately because the timing of their wedding we weren’t able to get many photos done outside, so we are going to do that next month! Can’t wait!! For now, here’s a little sneak peek from their wedding day.
Nick and Nicole got pretty lucky on their wedding day. We were expecting some significant rain. I mean there were all kinds of flash flood warnings, forecasts of rain accumulation, etc. It rained a little in the morning, but cleared up and didn’t rain again until the reception. We were able to do the ceremony and photos outside before the rain started really came down. I am so incredibly happy that Nick and Nicole were able to have the beautiful day they have been dreaming and planning over the past year. Nick and Nicole were one of the first couples to book with me since I moved here to Austin. When Nicole told me they were getting married at Chapel Dulcinea, I looked it up on line(as I do with all vendor locations) and I was instantly in love with this place!! How can you not be….just take a look how beautiful it is!! You guys looked beautiful! Congratulations! Here’s a little sneak peek from your awesome day!
Austin Wedding Photographer | Melissa Vinsik Cedar Bend Events Two of my favorite people in the world got married last Saturday and I was honored that they chose me to be the one to capture their day. This is Mike and Mindy and they are our neighbors. They are one of the sweetest and kindest couples we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They are not only our neighbors but they are truly friends that we will treasure for life! Their day was perfect in every way! Check out a few sneak peek photos! Mike and Mindy….Congratulations, we love you guys!
Take a look at this couple! This is Nicole and Nick and they are getting married this year. I have the pleasure of being the one to capture all their special moments. We headed to San Gabriel Park last week for their engagement shoot. It was the perfect weather and the photos turned out great. They are such a sweet and fun couple and I can’t wait for their wedding! Here’s a few photos from our session.
These guys are two of my favorite people. Mike and Mindy are our AWESOME neighbors from a few houses down and I have the extreme pleasure of being their wedding photographer! I can’t wait! We went to a few spots in Austin and these shots here are from Mt. Bonnell (one of my favorite places in Austin). Here’s a little sneak peek!
I have to say….this was a hot one. Even though we got started about 7pm, it was HOT! This is my sister-in-law and her fiance and they are getting married later this year. We decided that doing photos at the barn fit them perfectly!!! So, that’s exactly what we did! I love how they turned out. Can’t wait for their wedding!!!! 🙂 Here’s a sneak peek.
I had so much fun with Julie and Jason last Sunday. We were originally supposed to shoot at the Long Center, but when we arrived we realized that there was a festival going on there! Luckily Julie came up with the idea of going to the UT Tower, since they both graduated from UT. GREAT IDEA!!! What a perfect setting and I can’t believe I haven’t shot there before! Loved everything about this session! Here’s a little sneak peek
What a great couple and what a great venue! I truly had so much fun shooting Ashley and Matt’s wedding! We headed to their wedding venue, Gabriel Springs, a week prior to the wedding to do some pre-wedding shots. Ashley and Matt are such a sweet couple and so easy going and their wedding was great!! Here’s part 1 of their sneak peek. I’ll post a few from the actual wedding very soon. Austin Wedding Photographer | Gabriel Springs
So you saw a few sneak peeks from Courtney and Dustin’s formals and now it’s time to show you a few (okay, maybe more than just a few) sneak peeks from their awesome wedding!!! Melissa Vinsik Photography | Austin Wedding Photographer
I love working with Courtney and Dustin. Such a sweet couple and they are SO in love! We headed to Mt. Bonnell in Austin to do their formals and what a great decision that was. Breathtaking views + beautiful weather + sweet couple = AWESOME shoot!!!! Here are a few sneak peeks from the shoot! A few sneak peeks from the wedding coming soon also, so keep checking back! Another amazing engagement session. We enjoyed the beautiful weather and took a ton of awesome shots yesterday at Teress and Ken’s engagement shoot. We had to reschedule a few times due to weather and it all came together yesterday!!! We started off at the Long Center, then hit South Congress, and ended at Mayfield Park. So much fun! Here are a few shots from our session! Austin Wedding Photographer – Melissa Vinsik
Today I had an awesome photo shoot. I shot a bridal session with a beautiful bride, Elizabeth (getting married 2/19). She is getting married at The Mansion at Judges’ Hill and that is were we decided to do her bridal session as well. It was a perfect day for it too! High 60’s, sunny…..just perfect! Here are a few sneak peeks from our session! Austin Wedding Photographer | Melissa Vinsik
I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful state. Don’t get me wrong, Wisconsin probably has some beautiful places and I will ALWAYS love Chicago, but every time I go to Lake Travis I am blown away by the beauty. This is, seriously, a photographer’s paradise! I am excited to explore Austin and scout new locations to shoot. Here a few pics of Lake Travis. Austin Photographer | Melissa Vinsik
Wow….that’s all I can say about today’s engagement session. Beautiful weather, beautiful location, beautiful couple, and beautiful lighting! I’d say those are the perfect ingredients for an AWESOME engagement shoot. Austin has not let me down, so far, this month with the weather. I feel so blessed to be able to shoot outside like this in November! I think we hit like 75 degrees today. We just kept shooting and shooting. We shot so much that it was honestly very hard to come up with just a few favorites for a sneak peek. Sooo…..these guys get a bigger sneak peek than usual because….well, I just couldn’t help myself!!!! So, here ya go… Austin Wedding Photographer | Austin Engagement Photographer | Melissa Vinsik
As we were out shooting Amanda’s Senior photos on South Congress and we decided to do a few fun couple shots. I can’t wait to do some engagement photos here! Love these spots. Love this couple! Austin Photographer – Melissa Vinsik Austin Photographer – Melissa Vinsik Photography
How could I not love my job as a photographer when I get to work families like this? This is the Easley family and they have a little sweet angel, named Ava. We were lucky enough to sneak this session in between the rain showers yesterday (rare for Austin these days). We decided to do the shoot at the AMOA (Austin Museum of Art) and what a BEAUTIFUL place to use as a backdrop! One of the most exciting things about moving to Austin is meeting new, awesome clients and getting to explore and shoot at new locations (which there are a TON in Austin). I know I haven’t even scratched the surface of awesome photo spots here, but I’m like a kid in a candy store when I find a new photo location. Thank you, Anna, for telling me about this place. And time for a little sneak peek from yesterdays shoot….. Melissa Vinsik Photograph – Austin Family Photographer
This has got to be one of the funnest families I’ve ever met! Many of you may recognize the red head in these photos and I’m certain that many of you would recognize her voice even more as she is Cassiday from the JB and Sandy Morning Show on 94.7FM The Mix. We had so much fun doing this shoot! We decided to shoot on the lawn of the Texas Capitol in downtown Austin. We dodged the wind and the people and we got some great and FUN shots!! Cassiday told me how fun her family is and she was right! Thanks for letting me capture some great moments with you guys! And here is your sneak peek…. I had a blast shooting with Amanda today in Austin! We went to Zilker Park and then headed down to South Congress. She introduced me to several awesome spots! Thank you! I can’t wait to get back out and go shooting in Austin again! Here are a few photos from our session today. Austin Photographer – Melissa Vinsik Photography
I made it back to Wisconsin last weekend to shoot Haley and Jason’s wedding. I adore this couple! They are so in love and just such a fun couple! We had amazing weather, so we headed down to the lakefront to take some photos by the museum and then more by the Marcus Center. I cannot WAIT to start shooting weddings here in Austin! I loved finding beautiful spots in Milwaukee and I’m going to have just as much fun finding them here in Austin. Here’s a little sneak peek from the wedding this weekend! Congratulations Haley and Jason!!!
What a great way to stare my week. Yes, it’s Tuesday…however, yesterday my kids were off from school so this is my Monday. I gotta say that although I’m an Austin Photographer now, it certainly is nice to fly back to Wisconsin to shoot some of my favorite clients. AND it was AMAZING weather. A little warmer than I expected (mid to high 70’s…maybe even low 80’s), but the colors were absolutely PERFECT!!! We originally had our session set when I was in town last time for a wedding in September, but it was very rainy/overcast so we decided to reschedule for this past weekend (I was in town to shoot another wedding). I think that was a great decision because fall colors are awesome and we captured it right at the perfect time. So, I’ve been here for 2 months and this is the first time that I’ve been able to explore Round Rock a little. I went out to Old Settlers Park today to take some shots just for fun. Sooo many great spots…I think I will have to take Caitlyn there this weekend to do her 9th grade photos! Here’s a few photos from today’s outing.
I flew back to Wisconsin last weekend to shoot a beautiful wedding with an AWESOME couple! It was totally worth the trip. We went to Petrifying Springs in Kenosha to take photos and it was absolutely beautiful! I’m soooo going to miss this place. It really is the perfect setting for photos and if you are lucky enough to get there at the right time for the right lighting, it’s just magical! Here’s a little sneak peek from Kayla and Shawn’s special day!
I had a great time shooting Austin Fashion Week this past week. It was such a different experience than what I am used to shooting, but it was a blast and I got some great shots! Thanks to 94.7 The Mix for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this great event! Here are a few shots from Friday night (Classic Couture), taken place at The Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin (which, by the way, is an incredibly beautiful hotel).
Hi had a great time with Nicole and Matt this past weekend! Such a sweet couple. They own a few horses and had a vision of a photo they wanted to take so we headed over to snap a few with this cutie!!! I absolutely love horses and this was so much fun! Nicole and Matt, here’s one for the road. I hope it is what you envisioned! Austin Wedding Photographer – Melissa Vinsik
